Organisations
are engaged in a holistic and participatory process to analyse their
capacity in each module. Training modules are developed to respond to
the needs identified. Each organisation is encouraged to send people
who work directly in the areas covered by each module.
One
of the main objectives of the training is to equip people working or
volunteering in the organisation for the benefit of the organisation,
as a result it is important that the organisation develop a plan to
transfer the skill gained to the rest of the organisation within 3 months
of the training.
Modules
are followed up with support and mentorship. All the modules are geared
towards the development of the organisation; therefore a mentoring process
follows all the trainings to ensure that organisations are equipped
to use the skills gained during the training. Mentors are selected from
the community and they undergo a thorough training on mentoring processes.
